Firstly, I'm sorry if I have not been updating KatieValentine regularly. Busy lah dey. Attachment so far has been educational, interesting, fun but painstakingly tiring. Attachement is waaaaaaaaay different then clinical hokay! But it's nice to hear compliments from the patients and their family members. A simple thank you can easily lift your spirits up. Seeing your patient leaving the ward happily and in a state of good health makes you feel proud of what you had done to the patient to make them feel better throughout their stay. But at a certain point of time when the family members were about to leave and told me to take good care of their mother, I suddenly realized that my patients life is in my very own bare hands. It’s amazing to see how a stranger can trust a 17 year old teenager to take care of their 70 year old mother.
Next, results are out and I passed! Sorry if I'm making this sound like a big deal but it IS to me! So fine, I didn't get a GPA of 3 and above but still, I'm quite shocked when I look at my results. All the hard work, burning the midnight oil finally paid off. Insya Allah, I'll try my best to get a 3 for my GPA hokaaaaaaaay.
Finally, my dearest Didi is away in KL.
