"I AM VERY ANGRY!".
I feel for you, John. you're not the only one suffering.
I was in the LRT, going home from tuition, cursing myself at the same time. Why did I sat my butt down for a 2 hour Rush Hour 3 movie when there's much more things in the world which I could do? Like practicing for my health assessment for instance?
I already felt bad enough that I was wasting my time and as stupid as I can get, I forgot that it was peak hours. When I arrived at Choa Chu Kang LRT, there was a large crowd as if Rihanna came to take the LRT for the first time or something. Mind you, you could not even see the entrance to the lift lor! Aper lagi tangga nak gi MRT kan? Luckily I'm not as small as Kecik or I would be squashed by the stampede of humans rushing to the train. Heh.
So my instincts were telling me that the train to Yew Tee will be arriving soon. I don't know lah where that instincts came from. But apparently, they were right! So I rushed up the staircase to the MRT platform but were pushed back down by the stampede of passengers rushing to the LRT. Dah naik susah beh kenek tolak balek bawah. Tak bingit? Bingit kaaaannnnn!
So I pushed my way through and finally got to the top of the staircase. Now, I had to rush to the door! And as soon as I my face was in front of the open door..
it closed on ME! *GASP!*
My earphones was on so I didn't heard the door's closing sound. The people in the train like didn't do anything but just stare at me rushing to the train as if it was some thrill movie. Maybe they were thinking like this at the point of time..
Eh, you think she can make? I think so. Eh, wait. Ohh! She didn't make it!
Maybe Singaporeans find pleasure seeing other people suffer. These people don't know how to help one another ah? Atleast hold up the door laaaaaa.
This afternoon when I was taking the train to meet Didi, Fatin was awed to see the new refurbished train with the train map and the lights on it. The lights helps to indicate where you are and where the train will be heading to. So beside the legend, there was 2 boxes. One said,"THIS SIDE" and the other,"OTHER SIDE". Obvious right?!
Fatin: Why they go and put up this kind of signs?
Me: You know if you alight at City Hall and the train door opens on the other side, people might just be standing and waiting for the door to be open when it already is. And when they look up, wondering why the door isn't open and see the sign,"Oh! It's on the OTHER SIDE!".
I think Singaporeans are too darn pampered or stupid loorrr. That includes me, you and YOU!
PS: You wait. You wait there. You waaaiiiiittttt.
