was in DRP and DFS room today. staffs over there pun gerek :D really inspired by the senior staffs cuz they are able to speak in multiple languages! one indian staff who looks chinese is able to speak in all 4 language fluently. the nurse in the DRP room speaks hokkien fairly well. but to see the amount of interest and time she puts in to learn the language amazes me. they are senior staffs who are like 50++ years old and they can still register new stuffs into their fully loaded brain!

and she was trying so hard to get this hokkien word right until it sounds vulgar. cute la.. she was trying to say "ah jie bi" which means last/next time which i can't remember. she kept on repeating the word trying to making it sounds right. but she emphasized on the wrong word and it came out as "ah chee bi"!

jacqueline cheng rui min alexis faith! you have to teach me more of hokkien ok and not just "kacheng ki lai" or "kia ki ko". you can teach nnesah all the vulgar words :D

let's face reality. even if you learn some foreign language like french, what's the probability that you would practice conversing the language. unless of course if you are going to france la or have some french patients! but tell me the chances of nursing hokkien speaking patients to french patients?! really cannot understand those who take up language classes. not as if we could understand what the hell you are trying to say!
SG: when are you leaving singapore?
FR: la semaine prochaine.
SG: what? your semen got porsche?
sorry if all my post have been about attachments. to be honest, that's what happen today! and also on every other days.. except for one or two odd days. just live with it lah ok? don't like what you are reading, you can scram off somewhere else :D
