Kakak's Birthday

After 3 days of papers, back-to-back, its finally over! I can officially burn all my manuals! (:

I didn't had the motivation to study for Sociology. Cuz' people like Nasyitah can go hip hip hooray and I'm still studying for another paper. Grrrr! Nevertheless, I forced myself to do so or I will be seeing Trina for another semester. On the day of the paper, Fatin and I were prepared to fail the paper. We could not store any more info into our cerebrum. Maybe its due to exhaustion. 3 days straight of paper and the content of each module.. Hanya Tuhan saja yang tahu.

Biology paper wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. SAQs questions were give away questions. Psychology was a manageable one. Whatever Lim pointed out, came out in the paper. Thanks to Hassan for the tips (: Insya Allah, I'll be able to pass. Amin.

Persevere, Syiqin. 1 more paper to go.

I didn't managed to study earlier today. Spent the whole day at Abang Khairul's engagement ceremony. It was a hoo-ha to my paternal side as this is their first grandson/niece/cousin getting engaged. Alhamdulillah, the whole ceremony went smoothly. (Will upload the photos when exams are over.)

The one thing that despise me about this events is that they will start pint pointing whose next. And when it comes to me..

If only. Haha!

Called Didi up and he was asking me what I want for my birthday. The things I want is like $92235937835719841. So the stuffs which I told him was more to what I NEED than what I WANT. Hahaha! So he eventually gave up and gave me a few makan places to choose from. Only fooooood can make me happy (: Heh.

Didi: So which one you want to go? You must choose one.
Me: K. I choose 1, 2 and Secret Recipe.
Didi: Eh, orang cakap pilih satu jer kan?
Me: *laughs*
Didi: So which one? Choose one ajer tau!

1088 wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. It was a manageable paper considering it was 70 MCQs and 2 SAQs. Alhamdulillah (:

So the next few papers will be Biology, Developmental Psyche and Sociology. Heard rumors that Biology paper is freaking tough. Better be prepared for it. As for Developmental Psyche and Sociology, I'm afraid if I'll messed up the theories and apply Psyche theories to Sociology or otherwise.

I better not stress myself up.

On a brighter note, I had a date with Cookie Monster (:

T minus 1330 hrs.

I'm not sure if I'm prepared to sit for 1088 tomorrow. Studying for 1088 is like studying for biology except I find biology much easier to understand. I cannot understand lectures on care of the child with altered health status. That whole bunch of lectures comprises almost 50% of the entire module.

I think I'm ~~screwed~~. *gulps*

Semestral exams will commence tomorrow till next week. Thus, sorry for the lack of updates.

We were having an issue over age.

I was writing down the family particulars and asked Ayah about Ibu's age.

Ayah: Ibu umur 52 or 53..
Me: Ayah umur brape?
Ayah: 55 this year.
Me: So Ibu 53 this year uh.
Ibu: Eh? Maner ader! Ibu 51! Ibu tahun 56.

*silence*

Ayah & Me: Betul ah 53!
Ibu: Eh?
Me: A'ah lah. Step forever 51 jerr..
Ibu: *laughs*

We were flipping through the family photo album. I know that photo albums may sounds ancient especially if you heard of anyone printing photos. Now advance already mahh. Can upload in photobucket or burn into CD, right? Still, I find photo albums the best. Though they take up space and may be a bit costly, its easier for you to browse through. Just take and see. Don't need to log in account and wait for the page to load or switch on the DVD player and place the CD and all that crap. I realised that my face changes through time. But not like Benjamin Button ahh.

Out of the blue, Ibu suddenly remembered that I'm turning 18 this year. And her advice..

Qin. Kau takmo kahwin siang-siang.

Ummmm. Okaaayyyy. Announcement toooooo early for me. But, okaayyyyy will take your advice. The best part, Ayah still can support.

I was switching channels and got stuck on Channel 5. Apparently, Mr. Bean was on (not the animated one). I remembered how I love to watch the show even to the extend of buying his movies like Bean the Movie and Me, Myself and Irene. Now, I realized how stupid his acts are. His acts resembles some of Singaporeans common personality for example, kiasu-ism and egocentric. I hate the opening credits of the show where they will show an empty road and suddenly out of nowhere, he fell flat to the ground. Truth was, I didn't hate it. I was scared of it. Merepek kan? I think its the background sound that makes it creepy. Anyhoot, Ibu changed the channel as soon as she got hold of the remote and commented that it’s a stupid show. Ok, I get it.

Apparently, this will be the last week of Year 1. Fast, hurh? It will also be my last week of being in Sub Group 2. Thank you Nnesah, Jacqueline, Fatin Azrin, Hassan and John for being such wonderful group mates. I'm sure gonna miss the times we spent on doing presentations. The laughters, the jokes and the never ending photography sessions.

I will definitely miss this :(
