Did you made the right decision? Did you 'Vote Earth' and switch off you lights for a whole hour?

I did. Well, my family did. And their idea of "switching off the lights" was to "get out of the house" and go to NTUC Fairprice. -______________-"

So today, I accompanied Ibu to Bukit Gombak to buy some groceries and on the way back she saw someone selling ubi or tapioca. And so she said..

IBU: Qin! Tengok! Dier jual ubi underground.
ME: Ubi underground? Sejak biler ni ibu dah start pakai word underground?
IBU: Sejak Qiqin ajar ibu..
ME: *shakes head*

I think what she was trying to say was the tapioca was brought in to Singapore illegally. Ok. I must be mindful of what I'm saying next time. Hah.

I think my dear Nnesah is dying to hear about the SHS posting. So here it goes..

I finally met F-mon after our bowling and Gelare meet-up which was about 2 weeks ago. We definitely expressed how much we missed the other 2 morons and kept on reminiscing the past every now and then. Especially Kecik, when we were about to board the train. And if her train happens to arrive earlier then yours, she will laugh at you like nobody's business. I miss that. Speaking of train, there was an incident at Clementi MRT on the first day of SHS. Among all the day, it MUST happened on that day. Nevertheless, I was earlier than F-mon. So it doesn't matter (:

Went to HPB, had briefing and yada yada yada. They basically give you a rough idea on what you'll be expecting in the school, the different stations, assigned us with assignments (Yes, Nnesah. You have to do an assignment and present it to the lecturer.) and told us which school we were attached to.

We were sent to North Spring Primary and its waaaaaayyyyy over at Sengkang. Kimak! It took me 1 hour 30 minutes to reach the bloody school! But the HPB team at the school was nice (: They taught us on the different stations, expected outcomes and answered whatever bullshit questions we asked. But it was rather routine. So you keep on doing the same thing over and over, and over, and over again!

The best station would have to be the immunisation station. Seeing the expression on their faces, simply classic! Their face will crunch up like a piece of paper ball after taking the Polio but soon after will turn as white as a ghost when the nurse started to take out the needle from the cool box. Hah.

But the most funniest one would have to be the one who cried and shouted,"PAAIIINNNN!" after the nurse swab her arm with normal saline.

Tell me what's sooooo painful about plain water? -____________________-"

From the outside, say if you were a cabdriver watching frantic jaywalkers scramble to cross the street in the final seconds before the light changed, it was only a mundane, urban snapshot: two seeming strangers, with little in common but their flimsy black umbrellas, passing in an intersection, making fleeting eye contact and exchanging stiff but not unfriendly hellos before moving on their way.

But inside was a very different story. Inside, I was reeling, churning, breathless as I made it onto the safety of the curb. Like seeing a ghost, I thought, one of those expressions I've heard a thousand times but never fully registered until that moment.

In a blink of an eye, I'm left with 2 weeks of attachment. I have a case study to do. Dammit. Can't wait for SHS posting! Finally, a change in environment.

Kids, here I come! :D

Excuse me.

Even if I'm someone close to you, someone whom you know practically for your whole damn life, this isn't the way to treat someone who's older and wiser than you. It doesn't mean that I'm keeping my mouth shut while monitoring your every move, you could simply overrule me and to the extend of stepping over my head. What happened today had surpass my limits. I won't be some fool kneeling in front of you while begging and compromising with you to do what you are suppose to do. I think you are wise enough to think what's best for you even though your beloved may think that you are still a small kid. I won't force you to do things that you do not wish to do. No reason to do something if you're not sincere about it. Might as well you pack up your stuff and leave. Learn to respect others if you wish for the same.

Screw you.

The first time I heard this song, I was in the kitchen having lunch with Kakak. Upon hearing the lyrics, especially the chorus, I stopped eating.

Putus nyamuk? Lagu aper sia putus nyamuk? Takde lagu lain pe?
Dalam banyak-banyak bende dia buat lagu pasal nyamuk?!

Ayah overheard my comment and he stopped his work and listened intently to the song.

Ayah: Qin. Bukan nyamuk lah! NyamBUNG! Putus nyambung!
Kakak: A'ah lah. Kau ni.. Break patch, break patch.

K. I admit I pekak. Sorry lor. Still, even if I dig my ears everyday (which I do), masih tetap pekak. How?

Had training today. First time going for gym training. Was blur even worst than a sotong. Luckily Ain and Zaf was there to show Nadiah, Aisyah and I around (: Normal training started around 8pm. Brushed up on steps. Training ended close to 10pm. Heard that there's gonna be silat camp next week from Wednesday to Friday. Don't know if I could make it cuz' I'm having attachments. Haiz.

Note to self; be more aggressive and confident, practice tendangan kuda and takmo kanchiong!

Sorry to disappoint any of you out there. As you all may have already know, I have been suffering from this disease called "penyakit M". This particular disease causes people to be lazy. Thus, I can't be bothered to post about my birthday entries. Furthermore, I turned 18 two weeks ago. So I guess, its old news by now. Hah.

Nevertheless, I need to thank a whole bunch of people. So here it goes..

First and foremost, thanks to Ibu, Ayah and Kakak for the wishes, your unfailing doas and the cake (:
To Didi for the cable car ride, the presents (I think there's a total of 5 presents. Hah!), the treats (makan, makan, makan!) and the surprises.
To F4 for the surprise and treat to Swensens.
To Kak Idah and Abang Is for the treat at Sakura and shisha.
To 10 for the cupcake and rose (and LJS coupons from Acap).
To NYP Silat for sabo-ing me with a tub full of ice-water (refreshing giler sampai brain freeze!).
To Hanani and Ayn for the T-shirt.
To Abang Nur and Kakak for the watch and top.
To Cik Anam, Cik Dian and Cinta Melissa for the chocolates (I hope you like your birthday gifts, budak kecik!).

And finally, to those who have wished me (I think you people know who your are :] )

I need to wake up at 6am for training tomorrow. And look at what I'm doing at 1.30am in the morning? Gi tido lahhhh! Macam maner tak ngantok during training?! Deng!

BIRTHDAY PART 1

So my first 18th birthday was celebrated with F4's. So on the last day of paper, they planned to go bowling at Yishun SAFRA. When arrived, we were given only an hour to play since there was a tournament going on in an hour's time. After the game ended, I suggested on playing pool but all of them walked out of SAFRA instead. Took the bus back to Northpoint and suddenly there was a commotion. Fatin wants to eat at MacDonalds, Jacq wants to eat at LJS, Nnesah didn't feel like eating and out of the blue, Didi called. So they just dragged me as I was on the phone. I ended up standing in front of Swensen's and said, "Aper niiii?!".

From the bottom of my heart, I thank each and everyone of you for making my 18th a memorable one. Pandai-pandai ehh korang plan. Mentang-mentang I always come late, you guys take advantage of the situation ehh. Next time I come early uhh (Yeah, right). Again, thank you. I love each and every one of you (:

Next entry, birthday part 2!
